They do not leave your skin dry, so i sometimes use them during the day for a quick fresh up after being outside. Funny though, I seemed to be using them so fast until I realized that my husband was using them, too! He wears a CPAP mask and found they cleared away the face oil and his mask sealed better. The nose strip works well--the plain strip for other parts of the face do not, in my experience. There is a certain perverse pleasure at looking at the tiny forest of what has been extracted from one's skin. But it's easy to screw it up and waste a strip, by having one's face too dry or too wet or by removing the strip too soon, and the strips are relatively expensive. Make sure you have 10 minutes or so to sit around looking like a dope when you decide to apply this.

I am 30 yrs old and have dealt with acne all my life. I bought this derma roller in hopes that it would help with some of the scars that I have acquired. I was amazed that within just a couple of days my skin tone had already started to improve. I have been using this on my face for about 3 weeks now. Not only have my scars become less visible, but I also had some dark pigmentation spots on my face since I had kids. The pigmentation has lightened quite a bit.



I use this once a day, in the evening before bed. I wash my face with a mild soap, then I spend about 5 minutes using this derma roller on my face. I then wash my face again with an acne wash and apply my night cream. My face feels great and my skin tone is evening out. So excited. I think I may add this to my morning routine and possibly try in other areas too (stretch marks).



Oh, it is really simple to clean also. I just keep a small baby food jar of rubbing alcohol in the bathroom that I dip it in when I am done using it.

So I read all these fabulously impressed reviews about Egyptian magic cream ; which sold me to buy it because the price is a bit intimidating and otherwise I wouldn't have.

So I went to Whole Foods to purchase this product and right next to it I saw "Blessed Sweet Bee Magic" healing cream which had the exact same ingredients list. Hm. So after thinking about it, I went with the bee magic which has a slightly more oily consistency then the egyptian magic. Anyways; later that day my mom picked up the Egyptian magic to try so now we have both the egyptian magic and the bee magic to compare. First let me say Egyptian magic lives up to these reviews. Its amazing. I don't have a negative thing to say about the product other than that it is over-priced and I'm finding it doesn't rub into an oil as fast as everyone seems to be saying..



The bee magic; I use it as an under eye treatment, my eyes are as though I've never seen the sun- that flawless. I'm soooo impressed. I didn't find the Egyptian magic did all that much as an under-eye cream, but I'm sure it did, just not as amazing as the bee magic; which is the cheaper of the two.



Either way; I put the cream all over my body, heels, feet, elbows, hair treatment, eye-lash lengthener, lip balm, skin-tone-evener, anti-frizz serum, tan legs, tips of my hair for split ends. I prefer to use the bee magic to the egyptian cream but I have both right now so I kinda switch em up; with bee magic on my face more. I haven't found either have broken me out and they definitely get rid of scars and all that uneven marky stuff.

The action of 2% salicylic acid and active warming treats the skin effectively for acne. Before I proceed further, I must preface this review with my skin type and amount of acne: very oily skin, little acne. I also want to include that I use this product in the shower once daily.



You must be forewarned about the warming action; it will surprise you the first time you use this product. It gets HOT for about two seconds then cools down to a manageable temperature. I enjoy it each morning but for some it may be overpowering. I recommend rubbing the cleanser in your hands the first time to feel it heat up. You must rub the solution to heat it up, pouring it on your hands will not heat it up.



After a week of using this cleanser, I have had minimal breakouts and my blackheads are less noticeable. To be clear about blackheads, nothing short of mechanical squeezing will remove blackheads completely. Therefore this solution works to diminish the appearance but does not clear your face of them.

The previous pore unclogging scrub formula had transformed my skin completely in a matter of days- results which were easy to maintain by continuing to keep the scrub in my daily routine.



When I saw that they had updated the packaging, I didn't panic at all because I assumed the formula inside would be the same. I've had flaky, oily, acne-prone skin since I was 12- So that's 14 years now. But last year when I made Biore Pore Unclogging scrub a regular part of my daily routine, everything changed. I suddenly had bright glowing skin- everybody noticed.



I noticed some skin irritation on my face after my first time using this new formula, but attributed it to the weather- my allergies had been out of control. I had virtually zero understanding of the needle therapy and stumbled across it by accident. After reading hours of reviews although still a bit skeptical I went ahead and ordered the 1.0mm. The concept here is that as the device rolls along the skin, these needles penetrate the upper layers of skin producing thousands of tiny puncture marks in the skin to create a controlled injury underneath the skin's surface, thereby inducing the body to respond by producing more collagen in that area. The skin plumps and thickens in response to the stimulus thus reducing fine lines, scars and stretch marks. Now, common sense did step up to the plate for me on the cleanliness and sterilization issues. Wash your face and any other part of your body that will be treated as well as your hands and work area. I put my hair back in a ponytail away from my face. Remember, you are creating open wounds albeit very tiny they are still susceptible to infection. I followed some instructions I found on-line that seemed to make the most sense considering the ones that came with the unit were minimal and uninformed. I steamed my face over a pan of boiling water slightly just prior to rolling to open my pores. I then ran the roller over my skin several times first across and then up and down. I don't go back and forth but if you do, Lift the dermaroller slightly after each forward movement This ensures that you will not hit the same hole repeatedly. Do not press too hard as it is not necessary and the needles will only go as far as their length. As a general guide, roll it over the area to be treated 8-10 times or 2~3 minutes. I did my first session in the morning and followed with Pure Hyaluronic Acid which I bought through Amazon for $14. My skin had the sensation of a mild sunburn and slight reddening that went away after a few hours. The pain level during the procedure was tolerable and I didn't feel the need for numbing cream or anesthetic. Later that evening after my common sense retired I decided to go again and this time I would treat my arms, top and under, thighs and tummy plus my face again. Hey, the more the better right? Wrong... IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO NEEDLE EVERY DAY. TREATING YOUR SKIN BEFORE IT HAS HAD TIME TO HEAL WILL ONLY REOPEN THE WOUNDS AND INTERFERE WITH THE HEALING PROCESS. Then to add insult to injury, I followed up with a big slather of Retin-A cream. That's not a good idea considering the pores are opened up and basically raw and Retin-A being acidic well, burns.... really bad. The next morning I found most of my body pretty much back to normal but my poor face was puffy, red and sensitive and remained that way for two days. However, I have noticed a remarkable improvement in skin tone and the lines on my face are smoother especially the smile or joker lines. I have a few sun spots on my forearms as well and they are considerably lighter and smaller with only two treatments. I am convinced that Micro-needling truly helps minimize wrinkles and scarring and will continue this therapy with great anticipation in reaping it's benefits over a longer period of time.



NOTE: Don't forget to thoroughly disinfect the dermaroller after each use.

You can boil water, remove from heat and place the dermaroller in the water. Leave it for a few minutes then allow it to air dry on clean paper towels. Make sure it is completely dry and completely cool before using it or before putting it back in the protective container it comes with. Do not use a metal or copper pot, only glass or porcelain.

Or,

liquid Household Bleach. 1/2 a teaspoon of bleach in a 2 quart pot filled with hot water will help keep your dermaroller germ free. Allow it to soak for at least 10 minutes. Remove and rinse thoroughly under hot, running water. NEVER SHARE YOUR DERMAROLLER.



UPDATE: 10/24-13

It's now two days after my third needle treatment and I am continually amazed at the rate my skin seems to be rejuvenating. The sun spots on my arms became a bit flaky but since have virtually disappeared. I also experienced some dry patches around my forearms and where my pants hug my waist but nothing drastic. I am comfortable with needling every 7-8 days but it varies with each individual and how fast or slow you heal. I am most pleased with the affect this procedure is having on my jowls and joker (smile) lines. I am seeing a noticeable change daily. My husband asked me the other day if I did anything different to my hair because something looked different in a good way. (that's 20 yrs of marriage for you, it took me a two weeks to notice he had shaved off his beard last year). Anyway, I cannot stress enough that needling for me is truly helping reverse the hands of time and I am so thankful I stumbled across this site.



UPDATE: 12/07-13

I am seeing positive results daily! Jowls and joker lines are firming and lifting, skin tone is radiant. Minor scars on my face that I have had since I was a child are virtually gone. I have taken before and after pics and trying to figure out how to post them here.

UPDATE: I've been using this several weeks now and am absolutely sold on it. This is a great serum and I am really feeling the difference in my skin. It appears to be firmer and some of my dark spots seem to be less noticeable. I will definitely be reordering.

I have used several types of vitamin C serum and usually have good results, with a few exceptions. This is, so far, one of my favorites. I have been using it for only a week, so if there is a great change I will update. The ingredients are exactly what I normally look for in a product, hyaluronic acid, which holds up to 2500% of its weight in water, feurulic acid which keeps on giving and of course 20% vitamin c. The smell is pleasant and the consistency is perfect. It goes on nicely and dries without a greasy film or a dry feeling. I use this before bed but imagine it could be worn under makeup without issue...depending on the makeup.



Aside from the product that I am really enjoying, I was also extremely impressed with the customer service. I am moderately-semi-self-educated on these serums and was taken aback to see the serum is orange. I've read that when a Vitamin c Serum is orange that it has oxidized and is dangerous. They also can be oxidized and still be clear right before they turn orange, so their production date is important. So I immediately contacted this company to ask about their freshness and why the product is orange. They responded quickly and in a very informative, non-condescending way. This was their email response:



Our vitamin c is map: magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a very and highly potent and stable derivative form of vitamin c.



The vitamin c you are talking about is another derivative called laa: l-ascorbic acid, a good vitamin c that does it's job, but is very unstable and has a shelf life of less than 3 months.



MAP, has a longevity of up to 1 year. All our serums are fresh, we don't make MASS amounts and just let it sit on the shelf, we make new batches one every two weeks. The batch you will probably receive was made on Dec. 21st.

After receiving their email, I did some more research and it seems their claims are real. So don't be afraid of the orange tint to this serum like I was. When this has happened in the past I've never been able to reach anyone so I have no idea if those other products were old or simply using this same MAP form of C.



As I said, so far I am really impressed with the product. Moreover, I like purchasing from a company that cares about their customers. There are a lot of vitamin C serums out there. It is nice to find one that I feel I can trust.

Clarisonic Replacement Brush Head - Acne Cleansing

The description said it would fit. It clicks into place just like the original brush did, but when I turned it on, it didn't scrub or vibrate the brush like it does with the other brush. I tried to take it off and put it back on several times. I resorted to just scrubbing my face without the buzzy effect. RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, 1-Ounce

I love this product for fighting wrinkles, but it is so harsh. I have sensitive/dry skin (which of course, shows wrinkles the most) and being of "that certain age," my skin is extra dry and sensitive. I used this religiously, but ended up with my eyes almost sealed shut from a reaction to it and my skin burned, even when I limited my use to once or twice a week. Got rid of the wrinkles, but also got rid of my skin!! I won't give up using it, because it is amazing on wrinkles, but I recommend not using it every night - use it a couple of nights on, then a couple of nights off. My face would be red after using it this way, but not burned. A friend of mine recommended another skin care product - she's into organic - and told me to try Bel Essence (comes in an oil or cream, I used both - I've been buying it from their website but it's available here too)(Bel Essence Anti Aging Treatment - Intensive All Natural Anti-Wrinkle, Facial Lift Skin Care Formula - 1.5oz). This solved the reaction problem to Roc. Not only did it help my skin in general, but using it with Roc - no burning, no bad reactions. I talked to my doctor about it, and he told me that the natural oils in Bel Essence contain high amounts of Vitamin E and other nutrients that help the skin heal and stay healthy. If you love Roc (and I am a HUGE fan), I recommend using Bel Essence with it, to get the good effects of Roc without the bad. There are a lot of all natural skin creams out there, but this worked the best, and absolutely worked the best with Roc.



Quick update - for Roc burns, I found that the Bel Essence oil Bel Essence - (2oz) 100% All-Natural Organic Anti-Wrinkle Formula with Argan, Grapeseed and Sesame Oil works a little quicker in helping heal. Probably because it is 100% oil without the ingredients to turn it into a cream. So if Roc really burned your skin, the oil will help treat it more quickly.



Another quick update - my skin is fabulous now. Never thought it would look this good - the Roc has reduced my lines to minor marks that make up covers nicely, and my skin is soft, firm, and a lot brighter. This is a GREAT combo.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair, SPF 30, 1 Ounce

My dermatologist recommended this because I kept bugging him about getting rid of wrinkles. He told me that this was a good product and less harsh than others. He said these type products work by turning your skin cells over more rapidly (that's what the retinol does) and the hydraulic acid helps your skin retain more moisture, so your skin plumps up. That's how they work, and this is one of the best products out there (I've tried a number of others). I've had great results from this BUT - my dermatologist told me I need to include in my routine a good cleansing product, one that will get rid of all the dead cells (since the skin cells are turning over more rapidly). When I added a mask/cleanser/cleansing brush (I've used a variety and they all helped my skin), I saw better results, I guess because I was clearing away debris from the new skin. My face was brighter and my skin was softer (in texture) and firmer. He also told me that the Nutrogena would work well to encourage skin turnover, but in order for you to get younger healthy skin to reappear, you need to have the building blocks available to build new skin - vitamins, fatty acids, amino acids, etc. Back to my research. I found Bel Essence All-Natural Anti-Wrinkle Treatment - Intensive Anti Aging, Facial Lift Skin Care Formula - 1.5oz which is all natural, and is made of plant oils that contain most of the building blocks for skin. I started using this with the Nutrogena and my variety of cleansers, and THAT'S when I saw amazing results. And permanent results. My skin is completely different. The caverns on my forehead are gone, with only slight lines that I can easily cover up with make up, no crow's feet, my upper lip wrinkles almost completely gone, again, good makeup and you don't see them. My skin is softer than my daughter's and much brighter and firmer. To sum up - Nutrogena is always in my medicine cabinet, I use different cleansers (jury is still out on which works the best), and I use the Bel Essence every day morning and night. You won't start to see serious results for at least a month (per the doc, skin regenerates every 28 days), but after 6 months of this routine, I have never looked better. Super happy.

Scratch Free Scrub Daddy (Pack of 4)

This removed caked on greasey burn marks from my old broiling pan that nothing else ever accomplished. I did use scouring powder with it but I've done that countless times before in the past and nothing ever made my pan clean until these. Even the blue sratchy pads that come on the other side of sponges didn't work or the Fuller Brush stainless steel product. I was about to throw the pan out and Scrub Daddy saved it. It is so amazing that the black gook never stuck to the sponge. You can rub red tomato sauce from a pot and the sponge stays bright yellow when rinsed. Stick a fork with melted cheese stuck to it's prongs between the happy smile and when you pull it out it's clean. Nothing better to clean your sink with and nothing sticks to it. Just one rinse and everything comes off. This never discolors. I have mine for over 4 months and it's not worn out at all. I think it's as close to indestructable as possible. I keep one in the bathroom also. It's like magic. I've sent packages as gifts and handed them out individually when people visit. Everyone calls me and asks where they can be ordered. I'm glad Amazon is carrying them now and not only QVC.

In response to the reviewer (Snowman) that found Amazon's price too high please read my comment under his

review. It comes to less per sponge to order thru Amazon than QVC.. I detailed the accounting. These are now( Nov 24) selling on Amazon Prime for 4 sponges for $14. I paid $25.48 with S&H for 6 on QVC more than once. I must have been having a "senior moment" that I didn't check Amazon first. Amazon is much less and more of a value as usual..

Can a sponge be thrilling, yes, this one is!!!
