Out of all the serums that I have tried this has been the one that comes in the largest bottle at 2oz double the size of most of the ones I have tried. I received this Vitamin C serum for free to try and review; regardless this is my 100% honest opinion. The bottle came with a glass dropper to help you apply the drops to your face. Compared to other serums I have tried this is of the medium consistency, it's not as liquidy as water but it's not as thick as some others either. I really do prefer the thicker ones as it helps to apply without it running away but I am getting used to using thinner ones like this one and know to carefully drop and be ready to rub in or it will drip down my face.



I have sensitive skin and this prodcut does not cause any adverse reactions like some skin products do which is always nice to learn. I hate having to be so picky over which types of products I buy because of that. I have wasted lots of money on products that just irritate me a lot. I also found that this serum is a good base moisturizer before my regular one. I have combo skin and the area at the top of my nose between my eyebrows often gets very dry. Moisturizes by themselves often do nothing, however I have been using this serum there before using my moisturizer and I've noticed that my skin looks better, healthier and more moisturized.



I marked this down one star because I haven't notice much change in skin color or fine lines around my eyes. I have only used it a couple of weeks so maybe with more time I will see a better improvement that I do now. In the mean time I will continue to use it as I know it is working to moisturize my face.

The Oz Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum is the latest in a long line of Oz Naturals products I've tried. My first experience with Oz Naturals products was several months ago, when a friend asked me to try them. Since then, I've used nine different Oz Naturals products, with the results ranging from excellent to, at worst, the very, very good. This is a wonderful brand. My latest experiment, the 2.5% Retinol Serum, promises to "correct hyper pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles."

Like other Oz Naturals products, the Retinol Serum really does reduce the appearance of aging and adds a youthful glow. It is recommended to use the serum over a toner and under a moisturizer. You will probably get the most appreciable improvement from using the products as recommended and in conjunction with each other. But, quite honestly, I've found that even using one of the Oz Naturals products makes me look younger, fresher, and evens out my skin tones. Even better, the products are guilt free: animal cruelty free and 100% vegan. The Retinol Serum is wonderful. It looks a little pasty as it first comes out of the bottle and a little orange. However, like all Oz Naturals products, it almost feels like it disappears on the skin, leaving only a softness that lasts all day.

I used to love these, but they seem to have changed the cloths that they use recently. The new ones aren't as 'scrubby.' I tend to have dry patches on otherwise oily skin, and these used to slough them off quite nicely, but now they don't do much more than the average face wash. I had been using these for years and will now have to find a new product. Disappointing.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) Although I have only been using Bio-Oil for two weeks, and I am certain I would have a more thorough review if I used it for another month or so, I would like to share my thoughts on this product thus far.



The Container:

The bottle is a nice size. The lid secures firmly, which is important should someone want to take this on a trip with them.



The Feel:

Bio-oil is definitely an oil. It leaves the skin slightly greasy and therefore should not be used before dressing or bedtime (if one has extremely expensive high-thread count Egyptian sheets).



The Scent:

There's really no definable scent to this product. It is light enough that men and women can use it.



The Results:

I have been using it on some abdominal, post-childbirth stretch marks. I have noticed no change in my stretch marks.



My husband has used it on a sun spot on his face and notices lightening. Not a significant change, but some lightening.



I did use it on my face a few times, at night. I was surprised at how smooth and brighter my skin looked in the morning.

This facial cream was recommended by a friend who is a couple of years older than me. I decided to try the cream, as I had been using several name brand creams that cost far more. I love this cream. Iʻve been using it for 2 years, and itʻs all the great things that people say it is. I recently ran out of it and decided, for convenience, to open a subscription with Amazon and have a jar sent to me every two months. I received my first order a couple days ago. As soon as I put it on my face, I noticed it was different. The formula that I'm used to always left my face feeling plump and soft, but this formula didnʻt do that at all. I looked at the jar and noticed it looked different from the empty jar of cream that I had used before. Mostly everything about the two jars was the same, except the one I got from Amazon was a deeper color red, and the silver cover did not say OLAY on the top (like it does in the photos on Amazon). When I picked up and read the box, it said MADE IN THAILAND. I went back to the Amazon website to read itʻs product description, and it clearly says MADE IN THE US. So I called the OLAY number that was on the box to speak to a representative. After explaining the situation, she said basically that they are a global company and have factories and distribution centers all over the world, but that any Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream sold in the USand Canada is made in Puerto Rico. So..neither the USA or Thailand. She went on to say I would have to speak to the seller to find out where they are receiving their product from. So I called Amazon and spoke to a Customer Service Rep, and he didn't really have an answer for me either, just saying that he will notify those in charge that the product description doesnʻt match the actual product. He did cancel my subscription, and refunded me the cost of the first jar. Overall, the return experience was awesome, I had no problems with it.



This isnʻt to say things made in Thailand arenʻt good quality, but this formula is just different. It could be a number of factors...the difference in the water...who knows. Bottom line is, I ordered a product that Amazon is advertising as MADE IN THE US and received something MADE IN THAILAND, that had suspicious packaging and felt different. I would save yourself the trouble of returns and buy it from your local drugstore until Amazon figures out where their product is coming from.

I get bad break outs from time to time, which leaves my face with alot of dark spots. So I was looking for something that would fade my dark spots without being to harsh on my skin. This Olay proffessional Pro-X Even Skin Tone Spot Fading Treatment, worked great on my skin with out me having any kind of irritation. A little bit of this product does the trick and the smell isn't overbearing. I have been using this for 2 weeks now and my spots are fading. My skin doesn't feel dried out at all with this fading treatment serum. I used this on my face 2 times a day, in the morning and in the night. You only need to used 2 to 3 drops on your face. I recommend this product to anybody who has spots that to be faded.

I haven't compared this to anything else but works for what I needed. One tip, I got a big plastic bottle with a tip that is angled and pointed. I fill that up with distilled water and shoot it into my gravity feed cup. That flushes paint out fast and saves me from wasting the cleaner. Then I add 2-3 drops of this cleaner into the cup and fire away. But wear a mask or shoot this into a cleaning station (make your own). Stupid me, I just sprayed this into a bucket and was choking for hours afterwards. Bottle says non toxic and an eye irritant. I guess I should have just errored on the side of caution.

I've been using this product for probably 20 years, and I'm now 64. I wouldn't say it's a miracle potion, but my facial skin is mostly wrinkle-free and looks healthy--and I only apply it about every other day.



FYI, Unilever, one of the consumer product megacorps, now owns St. Ives, and this product has changed. I happen to have an old pre-Unilever jar which states the product is not tested on animals, but the other day, when I bought a new jar at a local pharmacy, I noticed that that claim was gone and there was a Unilever logo in the corner. So I emailed Unilever asking if the product had been tested on animals, and their response was a link to a web page that contained an awful lot of PR BS about how they're trying to evolve into a non-animal testing company, blah blah blah. But no specific information about this moisturizer was offered.



I compared the ingredients in the old jar to the new one, and I noticed that at least three of the natural ingredients are now missing and the order of ingredients has been shuffled. So for any of you who are experiencing skin irritation, there may be good reason for that. It's not the same product it used to be. Beware. I'm returning my jar to the store I bought it at and I'll be looking for an animal-kind moisturizer to replace it.



Please consider writing your representative in Congress to co-sponsor the Humane Cosmetics Act. The E.U., Israel, Norway, and India have already banned the inhumane and unscientific practice of animal testing on cosmetics. More accurate results can be obtained from human-based cell and tissue testing methods.

I really like this product! It is basic, affordable, and provides a very good result for what it is. I am a doctor and I know better than anyone that there is no miracle product. Skincare can only accomplish so much. That's why I keep it pretty basic with my skin regimen. I like to stick to what I know can work and avoid buying expensive products that do not accomplish what they claim to. This is a good basic Hyaluronic Acid (HA) serum. HA is known to improve water retention and therefore keep your skin hydrated. HA naturally occurs in the skin, however, reduces in the outer layer of the skin as we age. The result is the outer layer of the skin appearing more dry and fine lines and wrinkles become more apparent. When moisturized, the skin appears more youthful. HA aids in this process of maintaining hydration of the skin.



With that said.... I will caution anyone who has dry to normal skin that they must absolutely use a moisturizer after this product. I have normal to oily skin and I use the moisturizer at night. I don't moisturize during the day because I live in a very humid climate and my t-zone gets oily. However, at night, I put this serum on after washing my face and wait about ten minutes and then add a good moisturizer. I like Derma-e Firming Moisturizer with DMAE- Alpha Lipoic - C-Ester. This moisturizer has all the necessities in my opinion. I love the DMAE which functions to tighten - as much as a product possibly can. The pair together (The Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the Derma-e moisturizer) are a good affordable combination.



Finally, there are no products that can reduced wrinkles. Only Botox, fillers, laser, or plastic surgery can truly accomplish this. Therefore, you have to set your expectations for skincare products. There are affordable ones like these that work well. Keep it simple. Just a light serum and moisturizer, or you can overstimulate your skin. Products like this should be used daily to maintain best results. SkinMedica (by Allergan) makes some excellent products that are as "active" and "potent" as you can get, but they cost a lot of money. Where I do like the Skinmedica products, the results are not exponentially better than with these.
